Personalisation is all the rage at the moment, with most brands hopping on board the bandwagon to allow customers involvement in their accessories. We’re all in favour of this, of course, but we love it even more when brands go one step further – like the folks at Anya Hindmarch, who have partnered with Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation’s Women of Hope to launch their Build a Bag concept.
This personalisation party has travelled globally from LA, London and Dublin to Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai. Finally, Hong Kong gets in on the fun. The comprehensive concept is based around the Anya Hindmarch Bucket Bag. You start by choosing your base colour. Then move on to pondering whether you’d like mink, shearling or plain leather for your handles. Don’t forget shoulder straps! Those come embroidered, stickered up or, again, in plain leather to suit your every taste. Finally, the brand’s signature fun and cheeky stickers, charms, fobs, ruffs and tassels are all available for you to make your bag truly one of a kind.
The Hong Kong launch event will be held on January 26 at The Landmark Central. Should you find yourself there, you can purchase an Anya Hindmarch Wink Key Ring with a note from Anya. Five percent of the proceeds will be donated to HKAHF – make it snappy because these key rings only have a limited run.
