PizzaBuzz invited me down to a bloggers event to create my own pizza and sample their food. You’re in control with the base, and toppings their bar of fresh ingredients gives your 1,000 of combinations and you can even order your pizza at your table without lifting a finger using flypay which I downloaded recently. The app mimics what you do in real life without interacting with a person.

Tap your table number in; choose your food, drinks etc pay within the app and wait for the food to arrive.

But I like the traditional way going up to the counter, looking at all the fresh ingredients before your eyes. You start with picking a base starting from £4.95, and then adding ingredients (from £1 upwards) as you go along. You watch the person create your dream pizza.

As you know the pizza is cooked in their woodfire oven in 90 seconds and the arrived super quick at the table. I ended up with a combination of melted mozzarella cheese, spicy sausage, caramelised onions, and mushrooms, which would have cost £12.95. I did enjoy the pizza but wished it was slightly hotter and have more sauce.

If you have room get some burrata, a fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream. It is super creamy and goes well almost everything.
