Dr. Jacob Steiger of Steiger Plastic Surgery in Boca Raton, a double board-certified physician specializing in plastic surgery of the face, predicts the following procedures will be highly sought after in the New Year.
Trends to Watch for in 2018:
Deep Plane Facelift – To remove jowls and wattles for a more refined jaw, smoother neck and contoured cheek. The latest advances and modifications to the procedure gives a natural yet the most effective results.
Liquid Rhinoplasty – The non-surgical nose job that changes the shape of the nose using injectable fillers.
Lip Injections – FDA approved fillers such as Restylane, Perlane, and Juvederm are used to achieve larger and fuller lips.
Lip Lift – A procedure that modifies the appearance of the lips by reshaping them to decrease the space between the upper lip and the nose and increase the prominence of the lip line.
ThermiSmooth – Non-surgical skin tightening is performed using a specially designed temperature controlled hand piece to tighten skin and deeper tissues 3x to 5x. The hand piece gently heats the skin’s surface using dermal heating and now has a new tip to treat larger areas, faster.
Chin Implant – A discreet incision is made under the chin and a solid silicone implant is strategically placed directly beneath the skin to create the patient’s desired look. Chin implants have had a huge comeback and expect to continue in 2018, they are even popular even for older women.
V Neck Procedure – A combination of a chin implant, ThermiSmooth, and neck liposuction to achieve a minimally invasive neck lift.
