You can always count on Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan (née Markle) to do a nice gesture. The royal couple made an appearance at the 91st Field of Remembrance service at Westminster Abbey on Thursday, November 7, to honor those who have lost their lives at war. The day before, they also surprised military families at the Broom Farm Community Centre in Windsor, U.K. During one of their many interactions with the public, the former military man, 35, and the Suits alum, 38, gave a sweet update on how their son, Archie, is doing.
“Look at your little teeth,” the former actress told one of the children at the event as seen in a clip the Sussex Royal Instagram account shared. “Archie just got two tiny ones.” He’s growing up so fast! While the 6-month-old adores both his parents, he seems to have a special bond with his dad. “When Harry goes off to do his own thing, Archie will squeal with excitement when he sees him again,” an exclusive source told Life & Style. “He’s a real daddy’s boy, but you can tell he also loves his mom.”
The parents of one are always in the spotlight, and naturally, they sometimes become affected by the negative attention. However, they’re doing their best to remain in good spirits for the sake of their baby. “Harry would move heaven and earth for Meghan and he’s going out of his way to cheer her up,” another insider exclusively told Life & Style. “I have to admit, the pressure of being a royal and the bad press they’ve endured has put some strain on their marriage, but they’re trying to stay strong.”
Harry and Meghan may look like have it all figured it out, but considering both of their upbringings were so different from their son’s, they’re still adjusting. “Neither Meghan or Harry grew up in a traditionally stable family, and while generally speaking they had a happy childhood, it’s important to them for Archie to see his parents in a loving relationship,” the second source continued.
During a recent interview with ITV News at Ten anchor Tom Bradby, Meg opened up about the pressure from the media. “It’s hard. I don’t think anybody could understand that,” she said. You got this, girl!
