With 100 percent successful shows, how will you describe your journey in the entertainment industry?
To be frank, I never expected that my show will be 100 percent successful. Whatever I do in life I do with 200% commitment. It can’t be luck all the time. One can’t be lucky for three roles back to back. So, I guess it’s all about hard work that has paid off on time.
Do you restrain from speaking your mind in public?
Yes, I do. If I start talking my mind it will create a lot of issues in others life.
You have never been a favourite of your co-stars, why?
(Laughs)I really don’t know. I have never given a thought to this. I have believed in professionalism and I don’t go to work thinking that a particular person should like me. Everybody has a different approach to life and other things.
Not many females like a guy being close to their mother. What’s your viewpoint?
Our family is the most imperial part of our life, so, if people have issues that why an individual is close to his/her family, I guess that’s nothing less than a crap. I don’t heed attention to such thought process.
Do you love cooking, what are your top 3 favourite foods?
I love to cook because it’s a big-time stress buster. I love making all varieties of dal. Plus, salads and pasta is something that I love to cook for friends and family. Though I don’t like pasta as such, it gives me pleasure to cook for my loved ones. My all-time favourite food is dal chawal or daal daliya.
What keeps you satisfied in life?
The only thing is I don’t set a target in life. I don’t look up to things like having this or that at this point in time. Also, I don’t expect much from life and others and that is what keeps me satisfied as an individual.
You are a football player. How did you fall in love with the game?
Football is my first love. I started playing when I was 10, and that’s the only sport I love.
What trends do you notice in the television industry?
I guess with time people have become more sensible in terms of what they want to see on television and that’s the reason even writers have started working harder than before. Now, you can see a bit of logic in everything and I think that has changed the industry a lot.
Will you ever do bold scenes?
I don’t think so. I am not comfortable kissing on the screen so I doubt I can go bold. For me, it’s all about comfort zone and it’s not mandatory that every character needs to have that romantic angle.
Will you ever do any reality show like Bigg Boss?
(Thinks) If you say reality shows, I would say yes. But, I don’t think I will be able to do something like Bigg Boss. It’s not my type of content.
