The Sir Stamford Raffles Suite
Originating in the late 1800s, this legendary hotel is celebrated for its colonial style and distinct history, as well as being home to the iconic Long Bar. The hotel’s two Presidential Suites pay tribute to its most significant historic figures: Sir Stamford Raffles, the founder of modern Singapore, and the family who established the hotel, the Sarkies. The Sir Stamford Raffles Suite takes inspiration from the zoologist, historian and East India Company officer it’s named after, incorporating valuable furnishings and artworks into the elegant 2,800 sq ft interior, encompassing two bedrooms, a marble bathroom, a spacious parlor and a private veranda.
