New York
Every year, Macy’s puts on a huge, one-of-a-kind fireworks display over the East River accompanied by music from the West Point Band and Glee Club. However, this time Macy’s isn’t disclosing information, which means you’ll just have to wait and see if you catch the fireworks by chance. “Fireworks displays will launch unannounced on select evenings across New York City,” read a statement on their website.
Las Vegas
According to the Reno Gazette Journal, there are still numerous locations to catch fireworks in Sin City for the 4th of July. Believe it or not, most of the events are free. If you’re looking for something low-key, you can check out the city of Henderson’s annual 4th of July celebration fireworks show starting at 9 p.m.
Dallas
Head downtown on the big day to catch a beautiful display at Lake Grapevine with a 24-minute fireworks show that begins at 9:30 p.m.
Atlanta
If you’re in the Atlanta area, head over to Woodstock Square to watch the free fireworks show, which begins at dusk.
Chicago
Frontier Park is where it’s at on the 4th of July in Chicago. In addition to a fireworks show, the vent will also include food trucks and port-a-potties.
Washington, D.C.
What better place to celebrate Independence Day than in the nation’s capital? Visitors get a head start and enjoy a fireworks display at The Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company on July 3 starting at 9:30 p.m.
