CELEBRATE SUMMER AT REKORDERLIG’S IDYLLIC MIDSUMMER HOUSE
As the longest day of the year approaches, make the most of sunny days and
balmy nights at the Rekorderlig Midsummer House, a Swedish hideaway in the
heart of east London.
This June and July, be transported to serene Scandinavia and experience
midsummer in the setting of a pop-up Swedish summerhouse in Victoria Park.
Guests will step out of the urban capital, and straight into a blissful oasis that
captures cool Scandi-style. Kick back on decking overlooking the tranquil
waters of the lake as chilled beats flow through the house.
Regardless of whether the English summer lives up to its promise, the
Midsummer House will create a little patch of sunshine as the Rekorderlig flows.
No summer day or evening is complete without a group of friends and a BBQ,
so native Scandinavian chefs from The Disappearing Dining Club will be serving
up a very special menu of Korv med brod – Swedish style hot dogs with freshly
made toppings including wild lingonberry (made with Rekorderlig Wild Berries),
cucumber relish, prawn salad and Danish Remoulade.
The Midsummer bar will serve the extensive range of Rekorderlig’s popular
premium fruit ciders, including the limited edition Summer Cider, Passionfruit.
