The Hard Rock Hotel along with the Residences has been open to guests almost the whole summer, with guests able to once again enjoy the world-renowned Hard Rock experience in the Alps. With comprehensive social distancing and cleaning procedures in place, guests at the hotel and those living in the Residences long term, are once again able to enjoy life in the Alps.
The hotel has been following the SAFE + SOUND program, which has been developed by a team of hospitality experts in collaboration with health and sanitation specialists, such as Ecolab and NSF. The program is being followed by all Hard Rock Hotels across the globe, and includes a range of simple and clear procedures aimed at enabling guests and team members to operate safely and enjoy the iconic lifestyle on offer at Hard Rock Hotel and Residences at the Hard Rock Hotel, Davos.
Some measures include temperature checks for every team member and vendor, mask-wearing for all team members and guests in designated areas, sanitization of guests’ luggage and hand sanitizer in every public space. Team members wash their hands every hour and operate from behind plexiglass separators at front desks and check-in areas. Self-service buffets have been suspended and contact-free room service has been introduced. Throughout the hotel and Residences, groups of guests are being spaced 6ft apart and spacing suggestions will be indicated by floor markers. There has also been increased cleaning of frequently-used surfaces across public areas, meeting rooms, dining areas and restrooms.
Screens around the hotel share this important information periodically and staff are always happy to advise if there are any queries. The Hard Rock team has been delighted to have guests back to the hotel after a long period of closure, to enjoy the very best the Swiss Alps have to offer. Those living at the Residences have been pleased to have full access to the wealth of amenities available at the Hard Rock Hotel, without missing a beat.
One thing which hasn’t changed is the hotel’s reputation for a legendary getaway, delivering exceptional service and world-class cuisine, set within the venue’s inviting and luxurious accommodation and amenities. These include the award-winning Rock Spa® and BodyRock® fitness suite, in addition to exclusive restaurants and the 5th Rooftop Bar, known for its enviable views of the Swiss mountain landscape. The hotel has proven incredibly popular year-round, leading to high interest in the Residences, with guests flocking to the hotel in the warmer months to enjoy a summer vacation with a Hard Rock twist, or taking on the Davos pistes in the winter.
