Someone isn’t having the shade! Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador wasn’t too pleased with costar Emily Simpson‘s recent comment about her friend group, the “Tres Amigas,” a.k.a. the 55-year-old and cast members Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson. In fact, she had a few choice words to tell Life & Style exclusively about the “mean girls” remarks.
“Umm, you can keep talking about me, obsessing about me,” Shannon exclusively dished while promoting her partnership with INNOVO®️ — the first ever transcutaneous muscle electrical stimulator to treat stress urinary incontinence (SUI). “I think she should focus on her own life right now because she has a lot going on.”
The blonde beauty’s feelings stemmed from an interview the 43-year-old did with Us Weekly on October 1, where Emily got candid about her feelings toward her least favorite costars. “I feel like when they get together, I feel like they’re mean. I think they’re bullies,” the Bravo TV star said. “Mean girls. Absolutely.”
Emily’s main concern with the practically infamous trio doesn’t come from any particular personal conflict — but moreso their consistent feud with costar Kelly Dodd.
“I just saw [the bullying] throughout the season, towards the end when they all kind of turned on Kelly,” she explained. “I feel like it wasn’t directed at me, but there was a lot of things that were directed at her. A lot of things that didn’t have anything to do with the show. A lot of bringing up things to try to make her look bad. I didn’t like that. I thought it was dirty, and I thought it was unethical. I thought it was just wrong.”
Things definitely have been contentious between the ~Amigas~ and the 44-year-old, who hit Shannon over the head during what was supposed to be a relaxing sound bath at the Miraval wellness resort during the September 17 episode. But as of now, Shan’s lukewarm about the whole thing.
“You know I’m not going to — I’m not a person that wants to have a resentment. At the same time, going out to the press saying that she wish she would’ve hit me harder, I don’t know,” she dished to Life & Style exclusively on where she stands with Kelly. “That to me it’s just — you’ve got a little bit of a screw loose.” She might be right there.
