We all know there’s drama for days on this season of Real Housewives of Orange County — but it looks as though the tensions have made their way offscreen as well. Tamra Judge spoke with Life & Style exclusively about costars Kelly Dodd and Emily Simpson … and she didn’t have the best things to say about the latter.
“I don’t really have the power to fire or anything like that,” the 52-year-old prefaced her comment while with her husband, Eddie Judge, who opened up about his AFib (Atrial Fibrillation) journey while promoting AFib Awareness Month. “But I think Kelly’s probably good TV. People like to watch her act out. Emily — I think her husband’s more interesting than her.”
Woof. Well, TBH, we’re not too surprised to hear a remark like that from Tamra, being that she and Emily had beef last season. Plus, Shane Simpson definitely has had a pretty interesting story lately. Em’s contentious spouse just failed the California bar exam for the second time, further postponing his legal dream.
Ultimately, Tamra is done with Emily and Shane’s relationship dynamic … and wants some change on the show. “I’m so tired of seeing marriages fall apart on national TV to be honest with you,” she continued. “So you know, I just feel like it’s happened so many times on Housewives shows, like I don’t wanna see that anymore.”
In fact, she felt more connected to newcomer Braunwyn Windham-Burke and her husband, Sean, who have a great relationship and promote a more positive view of reality show relationships.
“Bring on people that have healthy marriages like Braunwyn and her husband, like that’s interesting to watch and see that dynamic,” she explained. “I’m tired of them promoting people that are coming on the show that have terrible marriages, thinking it’s going to make it better or make it worse. I don’t know.”
Tamra has had her fair share of tumultuous relationships so it’s nice to see her longing for more positivity in the face of love — a love that doesn’t seem to extend to all of her costars. Oh well!
