Ride the waves and take on the sashimi boat – Eat Tokyo

It was a friend’s birthday I missed out on Tramshed for lunch, they said the chicken is seriously really nice from there. After a go-karting session we headed to central London to dine at Eat Tokyo. With about 15-20 of us on a Sunday evening we was scared we couldn’t get any seats. Somehow the staff made it happened.

The menu was comprehensive with many Japanese dishes to choose from, flicking through that menu was like a catalogue of 30 pages of mouth-watering pictures. With 15 odd mouths to feed we went all out and ordered a lot of food. From rainbow rolls, katsu curries and bento boxes. I only managed to take photo’s that was nearest to me.

Birthday boy was telling me about the Sashimi boat, prior to dining, it looked humongous from photo’s I’ve seen!  The half size cost around £30, whilst the full works was £50 ish mark.

The sashimi boat was presented with a whole fish included; with the tail sticking out, around the boat was a large selection of fresh sashimi. The quality of the fish was great.

Aftermath of the boat!

Overall the food is good and great value for money, portions was large and not a thing was wasted. Most of the dishes were around under £15; the sashimi boat was worth every penny.
