Savannah Chrisley Announces Split From Former Fiance Nic Kerdiles: ‘We Have Nothing But Love’ for Each Other

It’s over. Savannah Chrisley and her former fiancé, Nic Kerdiles, have decided to “call it quits” after ending their engagement, the Chrisley Knows Best star revealed in an announcement on Tuesday, September 15.

“You’ve all been wondering … so here it is: Oh how I wish this smile was on my face and that infectious laugh was spewing out of my body right now … but sadly it’s not,” the TV personality, 23, captioned her Instagram post, confirming their split.

“There’s no hatred between the two of us … and in all honesty … that makes saying goodbye even harder. We have nothing but love, respect and admiration for one another, but it’s time for us to move forward individually,” she added.

Savannah revealed the three years she shared with the ice hockey forward, 26, “have been some of the best” of her life, but she trusts “God has a far greater purpose” for her going forward. “I believe that He will take this hardship and make something beautiful out of it. Now please be kind with this news that I am sharing,” she concluded her statement.

Nic popped the question to the blonde beauty on Christmas Eve in 2018, and she waited until April 2019 to share the news with fans. The Georgia native and athlete later took their followers by surprise again by revealing they would be postponing their wedding this past June. After breaking off their engagement, she spoke out about where they stood as a couple.

Savannah described their relationship as “very unique” while chatting exclusively with Life & Style in July, and revealed they were “just back to dating.”

“We’re kind of marching to our own beat,” the Growing Up Chrisley star explained. “It has been confusing for people, but at the end of the day, we have to do what is best for us.”

Savannah’s father, Todd Chrisley, later sounded off about their “paused” engagement in August and said they mutually decided to hold off their nuptials.

“It was a decision that they made and they came to me directly and said, ‘Daddy stop the planning of this wedding right now. We’ve got some things we’ve got to work out and we’re committed to working those things out, but right now we need to stop the engagement, go back to dating and figure out what is best for us,'” Todd exclusively told Life & Style.

Fortunately, the exes will likely remain friends even though they are no longer together.
