About this time last year, I worked with Desenio for some interior inspiration for the holidays. This year, it was time for an upgrade with some new nature prints and warmer textures for the fall season. Let’s start with the living room. Surrounding myself in minimalist design, I keep my interior mostly all white, and focus on a few statement pieces. For the cold season, I chose a winter-mix mood, featuring wide open scenery and mountain top vibes. Incorporating a scattered poster pattern helps fill a large wall space, while keeping the look updated and fresh. Decide on the mood you want to set, choose your centerpiece, and work from there with supporting pieces. This will transform your wall art into a storyline, rather than just random art. If you’re struggling to find balance, try lining them up on your floor before hammering them into the walls.
Next it was time to freshen my workspace. Having a well-organized creative space is important for productivity. As a fashion blogger and the creative director of a women’s footwear company, the vibe needed to inspire luxury fashion. So what better choice than to choose a centerpiece with a quote from COCO. I went with all white frames to compliment the crisp, high-contrast look instead of the hang-clips I had in place before. Having a smaller space to work with, I choose several mini poster designs to frame my centerpiece. Offsetting them on the left, right, top and bottom keeps the space balanced and workable.
Poster art has taken over as an affordable, impactful change in interior design. From lining walls to framing floor corners for a more relaxed look, the possibilities are as endless as your creativity. Desenio offers a wide range of poster art, so if you’re in the market, be sure to check them out. Happy decorating.
