Shania Twain Calls Bebe Rexha Her ‘Daughter’ in Adorable Post-Grammys Instagram Stories: ‘Adopt Me!’

There’s nothing like a sweet bond between two very talented ladies! Shania Twain and Bebe Rexha gave fans a glimpse of their friendship when the “Meant to Be” singer shared a video of the two joking around backstage at the 2020 Grammys on Sunday, January 26.

“This woman is an icon,” Bebe said about the 54-year-old legend. “Adopt me!” Shania referred to the pop star as her “daughter,” so in some ways, Bebe got what she wanted. The ladies, who were presenters at the music awards show, also took a photo standing side by side, in which they flaunted their booties.

Showing off what her mama gave her is something Bebe does on the regular, actually. On her 30th birthday in August, the blonde beauty shared a nearly-naked photo of herself only wearing a thong as she did a split. “This is what 30 looks like,” she captioned the post. “My #BirthdaySuit. Self-love. Body positivity. Unapologetically me. Pre-show stretch and lipstick application #Not20Anymore.”

Bebe is comfortable in her own skin, and she makes sure to be a role model so other women can feel the same way. For instance, for the 2019 Grammys, she was shut down by several designers who refused to dress her because of her curvy figure.

“So I finally get nominated at the Grammys, and it’s like the coolest thing ever,” she said on IG at the time. “And a lot of times artists will go and talk to designers and they’ll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet. So I had my team hit out a lot of designers and a lot of them do not want to dress me because ‘I’m too big.'”

She then clapped back. “If a size 6-8 is too big, I don’t know what to tell you,” she continued. “I don’t want to wear your f–king dresses, ’cause that’s crazy. You’re saying that all the women in the world that are size 8 and up are not beautiful and they cannot wear your dresses. So to all the people who said I’m thick and I can’t wear your dress, f–k you, I don’t want to wear your f–king dresses.” Well said, girl!
