Congratulations to the happy couple! Stassi Schroeder gave birth on Thursday, January 7, welcoming baby No. 1, a daughter named Hartford Charlie Rose Clark, with husband Beau Clark.
“We truly cannot begin to describe the happiness and joy we are feeling at this moment,” the couple said in a statement to People the following day. “It’s something that you hear from all new parents right after birth, but something magical happens … We are feeling so blessed and grateful to have a beautiful and most importantly, healthy baby girl.”
The former Vanderpump Rules star, 32, revealed her pregnancy in mid-June. The exciting news came just days after Stassi and fellow VPR cast member Kristen Doute were fired from the network following past racist behavior.
While Stassi was expecting, she remained mostly out of the limelight. However, on September 17, the New Orleans native gave her first interview since being let go from Vanderpump Rules after eight seasons. During her tell-all with Tamron Hall, Stassi reflected on how her pregnancy changed her.
“I want to be a better person. I’m pregnant and I want my daughter to be proud of me,” she expressed at the time. “I want to be part of the solution. I’ve been a part of the problem for years now. I recognize that — and that’s why I say, I don’t feel like I’m a victim of cancel culture. People want me to be mad at it and I’m not. I needed it. I needed that.”
Less than a month later, the Bravolebrity revealed she and Beau officially tied the knot after getting engaged in August 2019. “Today would’ve been our wedding day. We went and did it anyway,” Stassi captioned a heartwarming video on October 7 of the couple exchanging a kiss.
“Married [September] 2020. Hopefully, Italian dream wedding [October] 2021. I am so proud to be your wife,” the newly minted mom added, referring to their original wedding plans. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, they had to postpone. That said, Stassi and Beau seem happier than ever!
