size? is gearing up for a special preview event in a matter of days, one that will highlight a slew of collaborations due to release over the next six months. In total, 30 joint projects are on the way with brands like Nike, adidas, New Balance, Reebok, PUMA and Vans, led by a beautiful take on the Dunk Low.
To build excitement surrounding the forthcoming launch, size? has blessed us with official photos of its Dunk Low collab, which offer a fairly precise preview of the shoe. The global retailer is keeping the coinciding details under wraps for now, but we see the pair dressed in brown and tan hues, with leather and suede coming together on the upper. A bright blue Swoosh brands the Dunks on the side, as it is bordered with contrasting black stitching to draw added attention. Around back, green heel padding injects even more color into the collaboration, while an orange Nike tag emerges atop the exposed foam tongue. Rounding out the design elements, we find a speckled outsole implemented below, as the sneaker comes with brown and tan laces to match the upper accordingly.
Again, the size? x Nike Dunk Low is one of many collaborations coming from the retailer in the next half of the year. You’ll be able to find out more about what’s in store when the size? FW21 preview event takes place on August 7. Open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (at The Black & White Shop. 59 Greek St. London), the presentation blends the digital and physical worlds, with an installation that awards guests with behind-the-scenes access to dozens of upcoming collabs. There, each product is previewed with an adjoining QR code that directs customers to the size?launches app for intel on the respective release. You’ll also want to tune in to size?’s social channels for a chance to win products featured in the showcase.
