Birthday love! Game of Thrones alum Sophie Turner wished husband Joe Jonas happy birthday with a sweet photo on August 15.
“Happy birthday to my love/bub/baby daddy,” the 24-year-old actress gushed over the musician, 31, in honor of his special day. Sophie also shared a black and white photo of the couple snuggled up over dinner to commemorate the milestone.
It’s no surprise to see this dynamic duo showing the love to one another amid such an exciting time in their lives. Life & Style confirmed the actress gave birth to the couple’s first child — a daughter named Willa — on July 27.
The longtime loves are “adapting well to being first-time parents,” an insider exclusively told Life & Style shortly after the baby’s birth. “They haven’t been getting much sleep but know it’s all part of the process.” Naturally, the Jonas Brothers member and his wife are “totally obsessed with their new bundle of joy,” the source added, noting the proud parents “can’t stop doting” on their newborn.
Joe is also making it a point to be there for Sophie and their daughter as much as they need him. “He is doing everything he can to help out,” the insider gushed. “When Sophie wants to rest up he’ll look after the baby.”
The twosome haven’t introduced their daughter to the rest of the family yet, but that doesn’t mean Joe’s bros haven’t received a sneak peek at their new niece. “Nick [Jonas] and Priyanka [Chopra] and the Jonas brothers have all FaceTimed to see the baby and congratulate them!” the insider explained. “The whole family is thrilled for them.”
Life & Style first learned Joe and Sophie were expecting a baby in February — but the parents-to-be never officially confirmed the pregnancy themselves. However, the X-Men star freely copped to the exciting news when she started stepping out and about while flaunting her growing baby bump.
The singer and the actress first tied the knot at a Las Vegas chapel the same night as the Billboard Music Awards in May 2019. The following month, the couple had more ~official~ nuptials in France, joined by their closest family and friends.
