Any host will be familiar with the nail-biting anxiety that comes with any celebration and that evening, we were no different. But when the clock struck 7 and the door we were swiftly assuaged when twelve years’ worth of friends from PR, to socialites, to celebrities cleared their Friday evenings for a night of revelry, most garbed in their Chinoiserie finest. Even a-listers Donnie Yen, his beautiful wife Cissy Wang, Karen Mok and Michael Wong all made time and effort with both ladies sporting glittering jewels from Diana Zhang and Hearts on Fire respectively.
