Though Natalia Dyer has been to her fair share of red carpet events, she seemed to get a bit overwhelmed at the 2020 SAG Awards on Sunday, January 19. Luckily, her boyfriend, Charlie Heaton, was there to make her feel better.
“Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton were having a couple’s moment; she looked a little frazzled and he patted her butt as she curled into him,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. “Then they started giggling and after a few moments seemed ready to continue down to the photo line.”
In addition to being a cute couple, the Stranger Things actors also looked amazing at the event. Natalia, 25, wore a lengthy gold dress, while Charlie, also 25, opted for the classic suit and bowtie look.
It’s no surprise Natalia and Charlie look so comfortable together. Besides being costars since 2015, which was when the first season of the Netflix series began filming, the pair has been a couple for three years. Though they keep their relationship private for the most part, Natalia did get candid about the perks of working with her boyfriend.
“It’s an interesting thing to work with somebody who you go home with,” the brunette beauty told Refinery29 in July 2019. “It’s always really fun. We’re really comfortable with each other, so we can play and feel more free, and we can talk about it before.”
As for why she’s keen on keeping the relationship on the DL? Well, like most celebs, she wants to cherish her privacy. “That’s something important to me — with my family, with my friends, I really like to keep it for me,” she told the outlet.
If you’re excited to see Natalia and Charlie play their on-screen characters Nancy and Jonathan, fortunately, it doesn’t seem like you’ll have to wait too long. While there is no release date set on when season 4 premieres, the show starts filming “in a few months,” according to costar Finn Wolfhard‘s interview with PopSugar. We can’t wait!
