Rumours abound that streetwear purveyor Supreme is planning a collaboration with British fashion house Burberry for a Spring/Summer 22 collection. The collab is reportedly said to be a full collection with a blend of Supreme’s bold elements and the heritage of the high-end luxury fashion house.
According to sources online, Supreme and Burberry are gearing up to produce a selection of collaborative goods for Supreme’s Spring/Summer 22 season. The collection is rumoured to feature a range of outerwear, tops, bottoms and accessories, all of which will sport co-signatures from each brand.
In the past, Supreme has partnered with Junya Watanabe, Tiffany & Co. and Pucci, not to mention its logomania collaboration with Louis Vuitton.
It is also interesting to note that back in 1997, Supreme had paid homage to Burberry with a Box Logo T-shirt release inspired by the British fashion house’s iconic checkered pattern.
There is no official information yet on whether or not we’ll be seeing this collaboration.
Collaborations have always been popular in the fashion industry. Dior and Birkenstock have collaborated for the first time ever for the Dior Fall/Winter 22 menswear collection. Two Birkenstock models have been reimagined — the Tokio Mule and Milano Sandal.
Fendi and Ledger have also recently joined forces to create “tech accessories”. The collaboration was unveiled during Fendi Men’s Fall/Winter 22 show in Milan designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi. The two designs are based on Fendi’s signature Baguette bag and the O’Lock chain and are made to fit Ledger’s hardware wallet.
