Swiss luxury watch brand TAG Heuer held its Sports Hub Exhibition from August 15 to August 26 at Senayan City, Jakarta.
The company has long been closely associated with the world of competitive sports, supporting famous world athletes and providing official timing services for major international sporting events. The TAG Heuer Sports Hub exhibition was part of an initiative to reinforce the brand’s motto: Don’t Crack Under Pressure which describes the brand’s DNA.
To marked the occasion, and to signal its support for Sports, TAG Heuer invited four local celebrities to take part in an exhilarating cycling challenge to raise funds for Yayasan Olahraga Anak Nusantara (YOAN Foundation), a local non-profit organization focusing the development of young athletes in their early age to become future champions and to meet international tournament standards.
The enthusiastic cycling team comprised of Indonesian national football player Bambang Pamungkas, musician and triathlete Fajar Alexa, actor and sportscaster Ibnu Jamil, and professional bodybuilding champion Heintje Pojoh, who all shared the same spirit with the brand – dynamic, innovative, inspirational and above all, they embody the TAG Heuer Don’t Crack Under Pressure motto. Led by a cycling instructor from Cycling Lab/Soulbox Jakarta, the charity ride has managed to raise a total of 200 million IDR for the cause.
Apart from the charity race and showcasing the beautiful TAG Heuer timepieces, visitors are able to experience various sport-related activities at the exhibition, from football penalty shootout challenge to the thrill rides from the motorsport game, Gran Turismo.
Aston Martin, DB11 V8 model is on display as part of the exhibition. TAG Heuer and Aston Martin partnership, two luxury brands with deep roots in the automotive world. The partnership will have a dual focus, with Aston Martin Racing’s motor racing. Aston Martin is also the title sponsor of the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing Formula One Team, for which TAG Heuer is also Official Timekeeper.
