Why did you chose the world of interior design?
I, Elizaveta Pozina, am founder of Vega Home limited. I grew up with an ambition to be come a world renowned architect. My father has a private and commercial construction business and I was involved with his projects even whilst I was still at school.

The Andaz Hotel in Amsterdam by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders features chandeliers encased inside huge bells and wallpaper that combines fish with cutlery. It’s a world full of luxury and glamour. Today we present you this stunning hotel by one of the most important interior designers in Europe!

The hotel occupies a 35-year-old library building in the centre of Amsterdam and Marcel Wanders wanted his design to incorporate elements of the city’s heritage alongside imagery from historic books.

Wildly inventive, the Campana brothers, Humberto and Fernando, are the celebrated São Paulo design team who made the famous Banquete chair (2002), composed of stuffed toys, and then created its acclaimed opposite, the Favela armchair (2003), constructed of scraps of wood like the homemade shacks in Brazil’s slums. Today we make a tour to a beautiful house designed by the company! Come with us!

The brothers grew up on a small farm in Brotas, 150 miles north of the city, and though much of their inspiration can be found in the streets and small shops that surround the studio, they’ve become increasingly interested in the materials found naturally in Brazil’s rainforests.
