Vvon Sugunnasil Makes His Much-Anticipated Runway Debut

It would be unlikely for the any well-dressed gentleman, and even some fashion-forward women, in the capital to not own a custom Vvon Sugunnasil suit. The designer and house founder, Von, is a familiar face in fashion working at retail like Siam Centre to top men's fashion publication, juggling his passion for media with his lifelong love for suiting. Leaning on a French tradition, the Vvon Sugunnasil bespoke suits are luxurious, impeccably made and fit to flatter the body type of any man and woman looking for an investment piece for his/ her wardrobe.
Von has dressed showbiz stars like Nadech Kugimiya, Prin Suparat, Gunn Svasti, Varit Hongsananda, society A-listers such as Polpat Asavaprapha, Noppadol Baholyodhi, Veekrit Palarit and Suquan Bulakul, and even the hardest-to-please fashion editors, and it's probably just about time when this beloved designer/ tailor made a huge milestone in the local fashion scene with a full runway show. "Vvon Sugunnasil First Show Presented by King Power Mahanakorn," which took place last Friday, gave the public its official first viewing of what Vvon Sugunnasil could do best -- dressing men and women in impeccably-cut clothes that evoke a much-need timeless elegance at a time when fashion needs it most. Titled "Code of Confidence," Von works on the concept "Modern Sci-fi," mixing his signature classicism with a touch of futuristic flair.
Sticking to his classic neutral palette of grey, white, ivory, black and navy and a hint of brightness with red and cobalt blue, the Vvon Sugunnasil sensibility is solidified in two-pieces -- be it suit or matching top and trousers -- for men and women. Simple, luxurious and practical, Von gives his fans not a fashion item, but a fashionable wardrobe staple that's not likely to go out of style. Matching shorts/ mini-skirt and jacket in tweeds for women give the collection a refreshing look, and tweed cropped jacket for men is an interesting, yet very suave wardrobe option for cooler days. The overall texture is sheen, silky and luxurious, and on look like drawstring wide-legged, cropped trousers with button-up collarless blouse, it takes casual dressing to a new, uber-luxurious level.
