The uniqueness of these watches lie in their most defining feature — a single hour hand that moves with confident grace around the elliptical dial. A closer look reveals the tiny disc in the centre of the dial, upon which the hour hand is mounted. And therein resides its bold conviction to emulate the trend once followed by 17th century watches. The minute and second hands become insignificant in this pursuit of independence, as the timepiece expresses itself in defiance of current timekeeping rules.

The 3140-calibre, automatic movement watch is presented in a very chic, 18-carat pink or white gold case that has a beautifully polished frosted-gold and satin brushing finish. The dial, which comes in two colours, blue and brown, has an equally interesting texture. Its uneven dimpled pattern presents a vivid backdrop to the smoothness of the pink or white gold hand. The blue and brown alligator straps, with large square motifs, complement the watches in an effectively understated style.
