Something’s up. YouTuber Tana Mongeau headed back to NYC for New York Fashion Week on September 4 — and it looks like she was ~in her feels~ on the plane ride over. The 21-year-old took to Twitter to share a “friendly reminder” for fans and followers about backstabbers and admit something has been keeping her “sad” lately.
“Friendly reminder that people will smile to your face and then walk away smiling again about what they did behind your back :),” the blonde beauty wrote, with her geotag placing her in L.A. still. “Sometimes the world hands you a day or a week or a month or a year filled with everything to be sad about,” she continued in a second tweet in Los Angeles.
The following morning, Tana tweeted from Queens, NYC. “Truly hope one day I’ll look back and know why these things had to happen,” she wrote, seemingly still referencing whatever serious situation she must be dealing with.
Naturally, fans and followers had questions. “Cryptic much??” one follower asked, while another said, “Quit tweeting this depressing s—t :(” Of course, some fans speculated a possible divorce from husband Jake Paul coming, but others had a feeling the drama may have actually started over their nuptials … and friends.
“Friendly reminder … @Mikemajlak @adam22 #JustSayin,” one fan wrote, before another asked them to elaborate. “Adam22 trashed his Jana wedding invite on Mike [Majlak]‘s show and said he’s not a Jana fan,” the follower explained, quoting the vlogger from his YouTube show, The Night Shift, as saying the new wife “should live her best slut life” and “become a pornstar,” as well as get it on with both himself and the “No Jumper” podcast creator. “[I don’t know] if he was joking, but it came off sleazy [in my opinion], given him and Tana are friends [and] he was at the wedding.”
On top of that, the fan also alleged that Mike has thrown shade Jana’s way more than once — even on the most recent episode of his podcast with Jake’s brother, Logan Paul. Ultimately, we’re not sure who is backstabbing Tana or why she’s bummed, but we’re sending her love and strength regardless. You got this, girl.
