He gets it. Flip or Flop star Tarek El Moussa responded to a fan’s comment about making a lot of “perfect posts” surrounding his relationship with girlfriend Heather Rae Young. Believe it or not, the 38-year-old agreed with the follower’s slightly judgmental comment — and we’re glad he can see the other side of having a ~perfect Instagram life~.
It all started with a cute paparazzi photo of himself and his lady, 32, posted to his IG on December 10. “Normally, I like our privacy but when the paparazzi gets cute shots like this it makes me happy,” he captioned the photo with a typed out smiley face. “The jet lag from our Europe trip is finally gone and I’m back to work! It was weird being in Europe, I found myself at peace. With the time difference, I wasn’t getting bombarded by phone calls and e-mails all day! That being said, by day [five], I missed work,” he added with three crying laughing emojis.
“I’m sick I know! I love this crazy busy life I live with @heatherraeyoung. She’s my everything and more than I could have asked for,” he concluded his caption. “Has anyone changed your life in the way that @heatherraeyoung changed mine? We all need support.”
The fan in question commented on the post with a bit of a backhanded compliment … but Tarek totally picked up what they were putting down. “I’m happy you are happy. It’s a lot of perfect posts though,” they wrote. “Everyone struggles. Nice to portray reality in relationships as well.” The HGTV star replied to the user, “So true!”
Needless to say, Tarek and Heather’s relationship is pretty close to perfect, though. The blonde beauty also commented on the cute post, writing, “Love you so much,” with not one, not two but FOURTEEN red heart emojis. So, you know the love is real, y’all.
Plus, the Selling Sunset star is not only smitten with her new man, but she’s also head-over-heels for his kids. Both Taylor, 9, and Brayden, 4, are totally into Heather’s place within the fam. Back in September, she told Life & Style exclusively about her connection with the young girl. “It’s very new and I love it,” she dished exclusively. “His daughter and [I] bonded very quickly.”
