Through the end of January, visitors to The Chesterfield Palm Beach can savor the flavors of London with The Crown Afternoon Tea. The service is available in the library, alfresco courtyard, or Leopard Lounge and features a selection of loose-leaf teas or a glass of Lanson Champagne. Finger sandwiches range from chicken salad with chopped almonds, to smoked Chilean salmon with dill cream cheese, to egg salad on marble rye. Freshly baked scones with Devonshire clotted cream and homemade preserves as well as pastries such as carrot cake, macarons, and an almond financier opera hazelnut cake are also included. Tea is served daily from noon to 4 p.m. and reservations are required. The cost is $38 per person.
