The only way to wind your watch is with a grandiose, 360-degree rotating instrument that looks as cool as the watch it winds. The Gyrowinder by Döttling, the manufacturer of bespoke luxury safes, has combined astronomical design with a rare feat of engineering—the Gyrowinder allows for completely free rotation of the watch in all directions, including a complete rollover, and has a set of counterweights so each watch can be individually balanced.
The idea for the Gyrowinder came after a trip to Florida’s Kennedy Space Center, when testing a spinning training instrument for aspiring astronauts. This functionality was then integrated into the Gyrowinder. Now all you need is a suitably cool timepiece to keep in it—see our Top Watches of 2017.
