Family first. Real Housewives of New Jersey stars and sisters-in-law Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga revealed to Life & Style exclusively that the Bravo OG’s brother, Joe Gorga, has really stepped up to the plate for her and her daughters amid husband Joe Giudice‘s legal battle and relocation to Italy.
“Anytime I need anything, he’ll come over right away,” the 47-year-old exclusively assured at BravoCon on November 16, while her 40-year-old sis added, “He’s super close with Gia, especially Gia, but all of them,” referencing Teresa’s eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, who is now a college student.
Plus, she even went as far as to call Joe a “father figure” to the girls — which, honestly, seems like high praise. It just goes to show how present the 41-year-old is for his family. “I always tell them if you need anyone, like as a father figure, always call Tio Joe,” she continued. “He wants to be there for you, but you have to also let him in, in order for him to be there. Then I always tell my brother too, I’m like, “Reach out to them, so they feel close to you too.”
Teresa and her children, including Milania, Audriana and Gabriella Giudice, recently came back from a trip abroad to visit their father in Italy. He had been in ICE custody since being released from a 41-month prison sentence back in back in March. On October 3, he was granted a request to wait out his deportation sentencing in Italy, as to finally be free of captivity once and for all.
Needless to say, the emotional mother was excited to see her longtime love after a lot of time apart. “I was so happy. I was happy he was free. I was happy. My daughters were so happy,” she told LS. “It was just very, very, very emotional.”
Whether or not Joe will ever be able to return to the United States is still up in the air, but Teresa and Melissa were adamant about the hopes they have for their family’s future. “Happiness,” Tre said. “Health, love and happiness.” That’s what we all hope for you guys, too.
