Tharroe of Mykonos — A boutique-style luxury hotel on Mykonos
The hotel’s small size, featuring 27 rooms and suites to be exact, makes it a perfect choice for those who are looking for a relaxing retreat. The hotel only welcomes families with children over the age of 10 years old. 
Tharroe of Mykonos is a family owned business managed by Olga Papadaki who ensures that the guests who visit the property feel exactly as they would in the comfort of their home. 
From the reception to the inviting living rooms, the restaurant and the renowned pool area — you feel as if you are staying in a spacious private villa with majestic views of the nearby Cyclades islands of Tinos, Syros, Delos, Gyaros, Paros and Naxos.

The hotel interiors are complemented by the impressive artwork and statues which you will find both inside and outside by the pool. The main highlight is the fascinating sculpture of Amarilli and Corisca, the dancing sisters by Andrew Wielawski which dominates the reception area. 
The choice of accommodation varies from standard double rooms, to deluxe, junior suite and the more luxurious option such as the Honeymoon Suites and the Panorama Suite. 
We stayed at the Honeymoon Suite which is located on the first floor (there is also one on the ground floor) with a private balcony which opens up to the magnificent Aegean Sea views.
A spacious and elegant 50 square meters suite features a whirlpool bathtub right inside the room, a separate sitting area, Coco-Mat and Media-Strom premium bedding, a separate bathroom with a shower, an ironing board, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. 
Dining and Wining
The hotel’s main restaurant named after the famous Pirate Barbarossa features indoor and outdoor seating with captivating views. The restaurant serves Greek cuisine based on traditional Cycladic recipes prepared using fresh and local ingredients. 
To start with we had a refreshing Summer salad with lettuce, rocket, dried gigs, orange slices and tahini dressing and fried zucchini sticks served with a yogurt sauce.
For main course I ordered Spaghetti with shrimp cooked in a fresh tomato sauce and Marissa had fillet of local pork cooked in red wine with prunes. We decided to try the locally produced red wine Paraportiano which is produced on the ecological vineyard called Mykonos Vioma winery.

In the morning breakfast is server buffet style in the same area. There was a selection of greek savoury pies, cold cuts and cheeses, fruits, baked goods, hot dishes and cereal. 
Location
The Tharroe of Mykonos is set in a prime location that allows you to easily explore Mykonos Town or Chora as the locals call it. Just a short stroll from the Tharroe of Mykonos, about 10 minutes or so you will find yourself near the windmills of Mykonos.

The hotel features an outdoor pool with comfortable loungers and pool bar, gym facilities and the Calypso Spa with a selection of facial and body treatments.
