Money in the bank, baby! The Real Housewives of New Jersey continue to delight and entertain us season after season, 13 years running. Though we live for the drama, we also love the fact that the gals of RHONJ — including longtime alum Danielle Staub — each have a side hustle and are moguls in the making.
With all their entrepreneurial endeavors, fans are often left wondering how much series OG Teresa Giudice, sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and the rest of the gang are worth. Well, allow your curiosity to subside. We rounded up their reported net worths — and they might surprise you.
As far as the most noteworthy NJ housewife is concerned, money has been both a blessing and a curse. Teresa and estranged husband Joe Giudice were indicted for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud in October 2014. The matriarch was sentenced to 15 months in jail and was released in December 2015 after serving 11 months of her sentence. Her former partner served his own 41-month sentence from March 2016 to March 2019, after which he was deported to his native Italy, where he currently resides.
After her release from prison, the Bravolebrity worked hard to try to rebuild her image — and her bank account. Teresa noticed revenue from some of her projects, including her bestselling cookbooks and her Fabellini wines, tumble as a result of the legal battle. Plus, the funds she was making were allocated to pay for legal matters, including the fight against Joe’s deportation.
During a season 10 RHONJ episode in February 2020, the brunette beauty revealed to costar and friend Dolores Catania she was concerned about her financial state. “I’ll be honest, I stress about money all the time,” Teresa said during the episode, which was filmed when the legal fight was in full swing.
“Like, I should be much further with all my businesses. Like, I built up a lot,” the Paterson, New Jersey native explained. “And then everything came crashing down because of the legal stuff.”
