Borgo Egnazia
ITALY
Borgo Egnazia on Puglia’s Adriatic coast places you amid hills dotted with caves, Neolithic sites and hilltop towns and is just steps from the sea many people come here for, making it easy to stay active during your time here. But this fall, as the days begin to cool, the resort is also hosting a month of sports and well-being. Throughout November, weekends will be dedicated to fitness, biking, yoga, running and golf, with the chance to discover local traditions, nearby towns and regional cuisine as well. From the 8th to 11th November, the resort will host a Meet the Experts retreat with sporting experts and nutritionists on hand to answer questions, along with yoga sessions and cycling trips to olive groves, giving you an insight into the benefits of a Mediterranean diet. The 18th November will then see crowds gather for Le Mezza di Egnazia Half Marathon and Family Run, and the weekend beginning November 23rd will see the return of the Sergio Melpignano Golf Challenge – a scenic tournament held in honor of Sergio Melpignano by San Domenico Golf.
