The Pierre, a Taj Hotel, New York, has just introduced Taj royal attache services where guests can receive ‘royal treatment’ by India Palace-trained straff in eleven of the luxurious hotel’s grand suites.
Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces has brought its signature genuine inspired Indian hospitality to its U.S. flagship property in New York, The Pierre. Taj Royal Attaches, who have all worked extensively with royalty, heads of state and global CEOs, will be providing palace-style services to Grand Suite guests at The Pierre. The idea is to make guests feel like they are coming back to all the comforts of home when they arrive back in their room.
According to Kathleen Shea, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, “From thousands of highly skilled candidates in India, we hand-selected three talented Taj Royal Attaches to join The Pierre, A Taj Hotel team. Their expertise coupled with the Taj Royal Attache program showcases the brand’s celebrated Indian hospitality in a very tangible way. One stay with a Royal Attache and it’ll be Taj Forever.”
The services include a chilled towel and signature cocktail in suite upon arrival and culinary treats to take along with you upon your departure. Guests can also request a Royal Bath from a menu designed to relax and revive that can include organic, botanical potions, scrubs, creams and oils. To mark a special occasion, a custom Royal Dining menu can be created by The Pierre’s Executive Chef Ashfew Blju or alternatively guests can experience a dinner or late super, brunch or lunch in-suite or at a special venue.
Additional services provided by the Taj Royal Attaches include arranging airport transfers, overseeing stock of kitchen pantry items, providing preferred newspapers, books, magazines, music or movies in the living room, ordering specialty flowers, preferred bedding and pillows or even organizing an in-room spa treatment. Attaches can also assist with unpacking and packing of luggage and arrange for laundry, valet, shoe care and repair, provide complimentary morning coffee or tea service, prepare in-suite Taj Royal Baths and coordinate with Guest Services and Concierge to accomodate other requests from arrival to departure.

In hopes of elevating and distinguishing the guest experience, Taj Royal Attache service will start at The Pierre with launch plans for Taj Boston and Taj Campton Place in San Francisco by the end of 2012.
