The PINK MACARON’s Guide to London

London Fashion Week was calling, but actually The Blond Macaron just needed a rest from her master thesis and a bit late birthday shopping… So follow us to our PINK London hot spots.

PINK Shopping

First things first – although we love Munich, shopping here is horrible… we are so excited about all the shopping options in a metropolis like London so we always do shopping before sightseeing. Imagine missing a special edition bag!!!

Fortnum & Mason: This store feels like Alice in Wonderland. We love all the decorative items, floral and garden accessories, paper items, ceramics, glasses or candles. Just everything for a luxurious home.

Harrods: No words needed – the best department store in the world! Even better than Selfridges, Bergdorf Goodman or Saks Fifth Avenue in our opinion. And be careful not to get lost Stephanie got her new Prada bag here, which will be revealed soon!

Maison Michel: The unique hatter has only few stores in the world. Find a small but super cute one in the heart of London and start a summer hat attack.

Portobello Market: Attention bargain hunters! You will find great clothes at the street market in the heart of lovely Notting Hill. But be careful there is a lot of trashy stuff, too!

PINK Food

Burger & Lobster: Normally we are not into restaurant chains but this one is just too good. You get the best burgers and lobster in town in the classical combo. Our second choice: The lobster roll. To die for!

The Ivy Chelsea Garden: Such a classic and elegant restaurant – it could also be at the Hamptons. You immediately feel like on holiday at the country side. Sip your iced tea at the fire place and enjoy the calm garden in the middle of the London rush.

Sketch: The most stylish and artistic restaurant in London. The PINK room right now is so much fun but even better are the egg toilets – be prepared. Go there for the classic tea time: only 45 pounds for all you can eat!

Farm Girl Café: Frenchie chai latte for breakfast? Nothing else anymore! Enjoy the familiar atmosphere with one or two avocado toasts.

Roka: An amazing place for super yummy sushi and friday night drinks. Order the PINK Hibiscus Martini!

Peggy Porschen: We are such big fans we even did a hole post some time ago about this PINK cake heaven. Find it here.

PINK Sights

Besides the typical #viewporn from London Eye or Big Ben there are a few hot spots you need to see!

Madison bar: Take a sundowner here and enjoy the urban view all over London.

Picnic at London bridge: Take your Peggy Porschen cupcakes through the whole city to have an amazing picnic with a view!
