If The Resort at Paws Up has taught us anything, it’s that luxury isn’t consigned to glass towers nor does it turn back at city limits.
Instead it goes wherever you go, in this case to the banks of Montana’s Blackfoot River where North America’s premier “glamping” getaway has introduced several new stays sure to entice you just a little farther off the beaten path.
For the more adventurous, the new and aptly-named Cliffside Camp is a perfect fit, perched atop a majestic cliff overlooking the Blackfoot and boasting the most expansive views on the 37,000-acre ranch. Featuring a dining facility and lounge, as well as six luxurious, safari-style tented accommodations ranging from 605 to 977 square feet, the Cliffside Camp is privately nestled in groves of surrounding pine trees. Four tents will feature two-bedrooms with a king bed in one and two twin beds in the other, making them ideal for families. The remaining two tents are designated “honeymoon tents” and, with a stunning copper tub located at the foot of their king beds, embrace the eternal romance of the American West.
One of five luxury tented camps at Paws Up – in addition to the rustically appointed Wilderness Estates – Cliffside opened in the summer of 2013 and is now accepting reservations for 2014 and beyond.
