‘The Voice’ Contestant Will Breman Has Quickly Become a Fan Favorite: ‘I Love Him!’

When it comes to blind auditions on The Voice, standing out is the name of the game and fortunately for Will Breman, he did just that … and then some!

During the season 17 premiere of the popular singing series on Monday, September 23, the 25-year-old singer from Santa Barbara absolutely wowed coaches Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and John Legend with his ~crazy cool~ rendition of the Spice Girls’ hit 1996 single “Say You’ll Be There.”

Less than a minute into Will’s audition, John, 40, and Gwen, 49, were sold! Unfortunately for the “Hollaback Girl” songstress, Will decided to join Team John. After all, the EGOT-winner did hop on stage and perform an impromptu duet of “Ordinary People.”

Beyond sharing his incredible talents with the world, Will also opened up about his battle with Asperger’s syndrome. “I’m on the autism spectrum, I had pretty limited interests,” he explained during his introduction. “Music became my biggest solace and helped me express my feelings in a way that would otherwise not come naturally to me.”

Unsurprisingly, Will’s vulnerability coupled with his killer voice has already made him a favorite among fans. “Love him! Very different,” one user commented on YouTube. “John may have his second winner!” added another.

“He is definitely a favorite this season. He is having so much fun on stage and his energy just resonates,” a third person chimed in, while a fourth wrote, “His voice is really cool and I love his vibe. He reminds of John Mayer.”

Considering John Mayer has won eight Grammy Awards throughout the duration of his career, that’s some pretty high internet praise right there!

Unsurprisingly, Will is basking in the success of his audition. “What a night, guys! Thank you all for the overwhelming support,” he wrote on Twitter. “But before I go to bed, can we all RT my blind and tag @spicegirls in it? Let’s get their attention! Like Area 51, they can’t ignore all of us.”

While the U.K. group has yet to comment, we 100 percent suspect they will in the coming weeks! As Kelly said after Will’s audition, “I’m so mad right now. You’re going to make it to the finale, you’re incredible.”

Be sure to catch Will on new episodes of The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.
