What do you get when you mix food, art, and a futures gallery together? A thematic Kitchen experiment, the salon-based food focus event called “Eat the world” brought me to Limewharf. The pop up kitchen is open for 3 weeks “The Modern Pantry” served culinary suprises throughout the night.
Limewharf, in Vyner street is a Hackney based futures gallery and cultural laboratory. It aims to feed the mind and senses through exhibitions and events.
The night was filled with entertainment and guests were encouraged to engage with each other by playing games, watching performances by the “The London Contemporary Orchestra”.
I was blown away by Alex Haw “worldscape” installation; a sculptural table crafted to represent the world map and lights was sparkled to present air pollution.
Pop along for a fun night filled culinary surprise, debates, digital installations and music performances.
