Editor’s Notes: You can’t keep A$AP Rocky and NEEDLES apart for too long. The duo are back in business for the third time in nearly as many years to again explore AWGE‘s adoration of the Japanese brand’s signature tracksuits. But, wait, that’s not all! For the first time, the pair have moved beyond sporty sets to explore some functional favorites.
Still, at the core of AWGE and NEEDLES’ latest collaborative drop is that inimitable track jacket and pants, seen here with large rainbow-hued sidelines. However, AWGE has wholly reshaped the garments, making the jacket slouchier and the track pants wider, complete with inseam zippers for a customizable fit.
This is AWGE’s third stab at the NEEDLES tracksuit since 2018 — presumably, they’d have come together in 2020 if the COVID-19 pandemic hadn’t interrupted their fun.
This collection could’ve been complete with the track gear alone, but AWGE and NEEDLES went the extra mile. Alongside the cream and grey-toned tracksuits, behold a trifecta of reworked workwear staples, comprising yet another jacket and pant set laden with that co-branded butterfly logo. That little bit of embroidery alone birthed a big resale market.
Anyways, there’s a flip of the classic waist-length uniform jacket up top, complete with plaid lining and a zipper pull in the shape of NEEDLES’ butterfly logo. Below, there’s a convertible cargo pant with glossy sidelines and zip-off paneling that allows the wearer to turn the trousers into shorts.

No fuzzy hats or collaborative sneakers this go-round, but give it time. Now that they’ve mastered the tracksuit, who knows what else they’ll have in store?
