We stan women supporting other women! When Victoria Justice was asked about former Zoey 101 costar Jamie Lynn Spears, she had nothing but nice things to say. Despite the fact that it’s been years since they worked together, the Victorious alum, 26, is still cheering the 28-year-old on from afar.
“It’s great!” Victoria exclusively told Life & Style at the Mars, Incorporated’s #PledgeforPlanet event in regard to Jamie’s career and mom life. “I mean she’s killing it. I’m so happy for her. She seems like she’s so happy and she’s a great mom and yeah, I’m just really happy for her.”
In case you missed it, the cast of Zoey 101 had a mini reunion in June, bringing fans back to the good old PCA days. Unfortunately, Zoey herself missed the get-together due to work. “She didn’t [go] because she is currently filming in Atlanta so she wasn’t able to make it out unfortunately,” Victoria said.
Though Jamie was unable to physically be with her former castmates, she made sure to give them a sweet shout-out when she shared a video they sent her. “Not only did I miss the reunion, but I also missed the FaceTime, because I’m lame and fell asleep … thank y’all for the video and hope to see y’all very soon,” she captioned the Instagram post shared on July 30.
The clip included Victoria, Matthew Underwood, Sean Flynn, Paul Butcher, Christopher Massey, Erin Sanders and Abby Wilde greeting the actress in sync. “Hi Jamie! We miss you. We wish you could be here and we hope to see you soon,” they said collectively.
“It was a lot of fun. It was great getting back together,” Victoria told Life & Style about their reunion. “It really just brought back old times and so many great memories. I just remember sitting there and looking at everyone’s faces and just feeling like no one had really changed. Like, things had obviously changed but we were still like at our core the same people and it just felt so comfortable and so familiar, so that was a really nice feeling. It was really fun.” The former Nickelodeon star also added that she would be so down for a reboot. We’re not ready!
