The latest 59-piece Chanel Coromandel high jewellery collection comprises 24 unique creations. They are divided into three themes: Flowers, most noticeably evoking the iconic camellia; animals, with birds commanding the strongest presence; and minerals, reflecting mystical landscapes and Gabrielle Chanel’s love of crystal and gemstones.

The collection is inspired by the founder’s obsession with coromandel screens, beautiful trestles of privacy that she discovered in the 1910s with her great love, Boy Capel.
