Best-known for its lineup of chunky, square pilot’s watches, Bell & Ross has been building up its cache of vintage-inspired timepieces. This new model joins its BR V collection as the first GMT model in the brand’s vintage line.
The latest addition to Bell & Ross’ BR V Collection, the BR V2-93 GMT sports a sleek look, with a streamlined case and refined white Superluminova hands and markers.

An ultra-curved AR coated sapphire crystal crowns the watch on the twelve o’clock position, set on a satin-polished steel case, with a 24-hour anodized aluminum disc in black and grey (to indicate night and day).
The watch also features a sapphire case back, screw-down crown and push-buttons, and 100-meter water resistance. Made with with 21 jewels, 28,800 vph, the watch’s 4Hz automatic movement features a rotor with Geneva stripes, based on the ETA 2893-2 with 42-hour power reserve.
While its simple exterior is reminiscent of the brand’s previous GMT, the BR 123, there are quite a couple of added refinements to the new BR V2-93 GMT model.
Not only has the case been downsized from 42mm to 41mm, the all-steel bezel has also been swapped one with a black anodized aluminum insert. The dial has also been toned down and has been given smaller Arabic numerals coated in white lume and a reduction of text at the six o’clock position. An orange hand marks the second time zone, allowing more legible differentiate.
Starting at $3,200 USD (extra $300 for the steel one), the BR V2-93 GMT is one well-priced piece for its functional and pleasing design. Buy the new vintage-inspired look on its official website here.
