Anyone in the market would know that Vitesse AuDessus is to automobiles what Saville Row is to menswear. The US-based exotic material specialist offers customers a bespoke deal by spiffing up any model they get with carbon fiber. Now, they’ve applied that magical touch to a Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce by getting rid of that plastic finish for a beautifully exposed carbon fiber exterior in red and white.
The end product wouldn’t be too out of place in a video-game like Mirror’s Edge, which, (not quite) incidentally, also happens to be about speed and maneuverability. As a large portion of the car is finished in white, the splashes of red provide a good contrast. Its top speed of over 200mph will also surely cause some major automobile envy, should you ever bear to take it for a spin.
“There is no doubt that the Superveloce is an absolutely stunning supercar. One of the car’s few aesthetic failings lies in the use of highly visible plastic bodywork. Several SV owners approached us seeking a carbon fiber option for these parts, namely the lower front bumper, side skirts, rear diffuser and mirrors” said company CEO Stefany Sanchez. There’s been a push towards carbon fiber lately, and this is just another sign of its growing value. Even McLaren recently did up a line of 675LT Spiders in a sleek black shade of it.
Beyond just doing up those parts as stated though, they’re going a bit further. Rathar than to simply switch up the body of the car, Vitesse AuDessus can also design and craft a carbon fiber roof as well as carbon fiber wheels in a choice of styles. Vitesse AuDessus has no problem taking the car apart, to fit it with a hand-finished tinted gloss or matte finish carbon fiber part – so long as the part in question, is removable. The company will even store the original parts in a special store, should you ever change your mind.
So, if you ever wish to spiff things up with your beloved ride, consider a personalized carbon fiber fit with Vitesse AuDessus.
