Nevertheless this number means the world to us because it has enabled us to fulfill so many of our dreams. Besides, there are fewer things better than having a virtual family this big – we love bumping into you no matter where in the world we are.” The celebrated the milestone by mentioning 10 of their favourite travel experiences from around the world, which included Lake Titicaca in Peru, Sunrise in Maldives, Remote beaches of Tanzania, Northern Lights in Scandinavia, Driving through Azerbaijan, Sunsets in Slovenia, Living in Bali for years, Home in Guatemala for a few months, Night skies in California
(US), and the comfort of Working in Paris.
To celebrate their passion for travel and make you feel a part of their journey, TMM handpicked some of the best moments of Bruised Passports from across the world that you surely need to experience.
Forest Fantasy
This view is from Japan, where the duo learned about SHINRIN YOKU, i.e. the practice of “Forest bathing” As they say, “Shinrin Yoku is not about hiking, burning calories, or accomplishing any goals. It’s letting the trees Soothe your soul & wandering aimlessly – it’s about taking a step back from the digital noise, news,
and human interactions of the modern world. This is incredible for mental health & wellbeing. Perhaps that is why it is actually recommended as Therapy in many parts of the world.”
Denmark Dream
This dreamy view is of Denmark, where the duo learned about HYGGE. In the duo words,” Hygge is about consciously creating pockets of happiness & contentment in one’s daily life. It is often associated with comforting and cozy things such as blankets, twinkling fairy lights, or candles! But Hygge is NOT about
buying new things!! It’s actually about decreasing stress in daily life, wearing comfortable clothes, living in simple de-cluttered spaces, devouring warm meals, and spending quality time alone or with friends and family members.”
Manila Magic
This picture-perfect moment is from Manila, where the duo did their last @hiltonhonors experience of2019 and was greeted by a stunning sunset from Conrad Manila’s lounge. In a candid note, the duo mentioned, “Oranges, pinks, and purples all in the space of an evening? Yes please.”
Aura at Oman
Trust Savi and Vid for a daily dose of life and you will never be disappointed. Look at the stunning scenic view and read the words of wisdom,
“Oman taught us never to judge a book by its cover! The country surprised us in so many ways. We went expecting the deserts, but it served us turquoise watering holes too. We went expecting lively villages, but it obliged us with peaceful mountain towns too! We went expecting historical sites, but it served up natural wonders too! We went expecting sand dunes, but it gave us panoramas too! We went expecting bustling souks, but it presented us with a luscious evening at the Opera too!”
Europe Ecstasy
How about some European ecstasy through the lens of the celebration of Bruised Passports? According to them, Europe is one giant winter wonderland, but to have the best time, you should always choose a destination that ticks all the boxes you have in mind whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with kids. They recommend Switzerland for luxurious rail and road trips, Paris for priceless sipping into a hot bath in wintertime with the twinkling Eiffel outside your window and Christmas markets in Vienna, Bucharest, or Prague ideal for foodies.
