Hmmm … Peter Weber responded to the idea of rekindling his relationship with Hannah Brown if she came on his upcoming season of The Bachelor. The two had a devastating split on The Bachelorette — the pilot admitted that the former beauty queen broke his heart — but he still feels very fondly about her.
“I fell in love with her and I’ve been moving on,” the 28-year-old explained to Ellen DeGeneres on September 18, when she asked about the possibility of him rekindling things with his reality star ex. “I don’t know if I’ll completely lose all that love in my heart for her and I kind of hope I don’t because that will show me what I had was true and it was real. But, I’m ready to move on and I’m ready to find my girl. And, I’m very hopeful this is going to work out.”
The California native was one of the top three contestants from last season but she broke things off simply because her feelings were strong for Jed Wyatt and Tyler Cameron. Fans noticed that Peter and Hannah’s chemistry seemingly picked right back up when they met face-to-face for the first time after their split during After the Final Rose on July 29.
The pilot explained that their conversation was a very good thing for him. “I was kind of looking forward to that time because as you watch back the show you’re reliving it again. And, as you’re trying to move on, if it didn’t work out, it kind of brings all those feelings back again,” he recalled during his interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “So, I was excited just to get some closure. You know, close that book and move on, but I’m always going to have amazing memories with Hannah. She means a ton to me … but I’m ready for this next journey.”
Bachelor Nation is definitely in for a great season. Peter came off as unbelievable guy during The Bachelorette, and he admitted that he’s just looking for his partner-in-crime. “Obviously, it sounds cliche, but [I’m looking for] that girl [who] is my best friend. You are just so madly in love with her and you can’t believe that you were lucky enough to find her and spend the rest of your life with her,” he divulged during an interview with Good Morning America just hours after he was announced as the next Bachelor. “The girl that is as thirsty for adventure as I am and just constantly exploring and never is gonna lose that. A girl that family is extremely important to her because for me coming from such a close family that’s that’s my rock.”
Good luck, Peter!
