Iris Law in La Perla’s Latest Launch
Iris Law appears in La Perla's latest campaign, shot by Indigo Lewin, in full-on '80s vibes inspired by the brand's archives.
For the first time ever, the 66-year-old luxury lingerie label has unveiled a limited-edition collection inspired by the brand's hero pieces from the 1980s. Diving into the rich archives of the label, the lacy, black pieces heralded a period of empowerment and celebration of the female form.
The decade was full of new lingerie inspiration as figures like Madonna and Jean Paul Gaultier brought the underwear as outerwear trend to the forefront of the pop culture lexicon. The brand's own 80s archives is full of black and white laces, body suits and plunging necklines, as well as high waisted and high cut bikini shapes. That sensual, body shaping, maximalist glamour is clearly the starting point of the new capsule.
Plenty of black lace, supportive body-conscious structuring side, the 80s archive collection pieces are shot by Indigo Lewin on model of the month Law (Jude Law's daughter) - a young actress whose star is rising as she works on a new series based on the Sex Pistols.
