If you’re in the market for a motorcycle, you might want to consider Newron Motors’ new wooden eco-friendly bike. Titled the EV-1, the super sustainable bike is fully customisable and retails for approximately HK$520,280 (US$67,000). They are currently taking pre-orders with a deposit of HK$17,472 (US$2,250) required.

The French motorcycle company's new electric bike is powered on a lithium-ion battery that charges fully in a mere 40 minutes. On a full charge, the driver can travel up to 186 miles in the city or roughly 136 miles on the highway. In addition, you will be able to choose from a bevy of wood finishes including oak, cedar, white ash, and ebony. The EV-1 can go from 0 to 61 mph in three seconds and reach a top speed of 136 miles per hour.

The design of the motorcycle is unique in that it shows off the exposed battery at the centre. As a result, you will be able to monitor the battery level at all times, even whilst you play with the additional settings that can be accessed through the Newron app. Like everything you've heard so far? You'll have to act fast, as there are currently only 12 units made available to order with more to come in 2021.
