MAD Paris Unveils a Dazzling New Sapphire-Encrusted Rolex Daytona 40mm
MAD Paris, a luxury watches customisation brand, has just released a sleek new product: the Rolex Daytona 40mm encrusted with black sapphire. A stunner of a watch, it comes with bright blue detailing and a black diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating. The use of the coating gives the Daytona a matte-like finish, perfectly complementing the sparkle of sapphires set in the bezel.
The watch is not just great to look at; it’s also quite durable thanks to the DLC that lends it high corrosion resistance and increased hardness. The all-black timepiece features a blue Rolex crown, hands and indicators, along with three additional measurements sitting at three, six and nine o’ clock, respectively, in brushed silver.

The watch is equipped with calibre 4130, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement created by Rolex. The chronograph contains fewer components than a regular one, ensuring that the movement is smooth and reliable. This is a certified Swiss chronometer with guaranteed high precision and resistance to shocks and temperature variations. Elsewhere, the exposed 4130 movement at the back of this watch has MAD Paris engraved around its trim.

This watch may be high on style, but it doesn’t compromise on comfort either; case in point: the thoughtfully designed Oyster bracelet. Made of a string of three-piece links, the bracelet is all about superior wrist comfort.
Selling for approx. HK$367,775, the Rolex Daytona 40mm is quite the investment. Then again, a watch like this doesn't come around very often, and for Rolex lovers, it's practically a no-brainer.
