Tom Ford Is Launching a Skincare Line
The craze for celebrity beauty brands has kicked into high gear and there seems to be no sign of it slowing down any time soon. There’s Lady Gaga’s Haus Laboratories and Rihanna’s Fenty line; now, celebrity fashion designer Tom Ford is taking a stab at it.
First, a bit of background: Estée Lauder–owned Tom Ford Beauty launched in 2006 with the brand's first fragrance, Tom Ford Black Orchid. In 2007, the Private Blend Collection of 12 unisex scents was introduced; by 2011, Tom Ford Beauty brought colour to the game with makeup for the face, eyes and lips.

Now, the fashion designer and filmmaker has just revealed his next project: a high-end skincare line called Tom Ford Research. Three years in the making, the brand will make its debut with a Serum Concentrate (US$350) and a Crème Concentrate (US$450). These two items will be exclusively available at Saks Fifth Avenue starting from August, followed by an international launch in September. Three more products will be added to the line in March 2020. Good news for most of us in Hong Kong: Ford has also announced that its upcoming skincare products will be geared towards the Asian market.

We'll be eagerly awaiting the arrival of the first two Tom Ford Research products. In the meantime, here are some of our favourite products from Tom Ford Beauty:
