Dior Beauty announced the news in an Instagram post, saying: “A NEW GENERATION FOREVER IS COMING…Dior Global Brand Ambassador @YaraShahidi, award-winning actress, producer, and inspiring change agent, is now part of the Forever sisterhood movement as a new face alongside @NataliePortman.” Shahidi too shared the development with her followers on Instagram.

Shahidi will join many other eminent Dior ambassadors, including Natalie Portman, Cara Delevingne, Golshifteh Farahani and Li Bingbing, for the campaign.

This isn’t her First Collaboration with Dior

Even though the Dior Forever Sisterhood campaign will be the star’s first-ever with the brand as global ambassador, this isn’t the first time she has collaborated with Dior.

In 2021, she was brought onboard for the Dior Stands with Women — a special campaign created by Charlize Theron, comprising series and videos, to mark International Women’s Day.

Natalie Portman, Li Bingbing, Dilone, Kim Yuna, India Mahdavi and Leila Slimani were also part of this campaign.

Benefit California Kissin' Colour Balm

We have been shielded behind our surgical masks for some time now, but with restrictions finally loosening up we can finally (or at least, begin to) revert back to the good old days. Fulfilling the need for hydration and colour this season, Benefit's new lip balm comes in a burst of 12 vibrant shades for summer fun. Extremely lightweight and hydrating thanks to loofah seed oil, the lips are nourished and hydrated for hours. One layer gives a natural-looking sheen, but when layered, can appear to be almost as pigmented as lipstick itself (without the drying effect). Personally, I’m enjoying the berry tone that adds a touch of colour while still appearing very natural and light.

There’s no getting around sweat and grime in the peak of summer and with that, exfoliation needs to be thorough and frequent. Guests indulged in a delicate four-course meal created especially for the event of which included a Balik salmon tartar with rose petals, and a coconut-cream dessert decorated with grapefruit-flavoured caviar pearls.
